When performing chakra therapy for animals, it is very similar to how you would perform chakra therapy on yourself or others. Any and all methods used on humans can be used on animals, but more cautious. I say this because some of the methods (like using essential oils or certain foods), are not safe for certain animals, so you should always look into what is and what is not okay for your pet.
One of the most popular types of healing for your pets would be with using crystals and their energies. Some animals will let you place the crystals on them while they sleep, but some have a difficult time with this. Like animals that are very small, timid, or energetic. If you have a pet like this, but would still like to use crystals to heal their chakras, you can hold them and use an all in one stone (kyanite and selenite are the ones I use). When you use this method, you can recite mantras or visualize the crystal’s energies flow into your pets, since they can’t do it themselves.
Another good way to heal your pets’ chakras would be with foods. There are many foods that correspond with each chakra, so even if your pet can’t have certain foods, there will still be a food he can have. To do this, you can give the pets seven pieces of corresponding foods or all together, but they should each be empowered with healing energies before given to the pet. You can also make pet treats with sigils and symbols for the chakras on them for a more direct path.
A few other methods include reiki, essential oils, and sharing your healing methods.
Many pet owners use reiki for pet chakra therapy. This is done by hovering your hands over the animal’s chakra points and visualizing healing energy enter your pet. This is a super easy way to heal pets, especially if you have timid or energetic critters, and picky eaters.
Another way would be to use essential oils. I personally don’t recommend this method because your pet may be allergic to a certain essential oil, even if it’s claimed to be safe for pets. If you decide to do this, make sure you have diluted the oil to an animal safe state. If you don’t know what that would be, dilute it enough to where it is safe to use on small children. You should anoint your pet’s chakra points with the oils.
Last but certainly not least, you can heal your pet by sharing your chakra healing methods. Any of the passive chakra therapy methods you do, your pet can take in too. If you use aromatherapy, orgonite, sounds, etc, your pet can pick up on the healing vibrations too. This is great if you have a hard time with any of the other methods, if you are a very busy person, or if your pet doesn’t need major healing.
Now that you know how to perform chakra therapy for your animals, you should know where his chakra points are. As a general rule: the root chakra is located at the base of the tail, the sacral chakra is located at the top of the pelvis or between the pelvis and navel, the solar plexus chakra is located between the navel and diaphragm, the heart chakra is located in the middle to the top of the ribcage, the throat chakra is located from the collar bones to the top of the neck, the third eye chakra is located between the eyes, and the crown chakra is located on the top of the skull. Below will be some pictures of common pets and where their chakras are located.
The cat’s chakra points follow all the general spots. The only difference would be that the heart chakra (if you will be healing from his back) is located right behind his shoulder blades, and the throat chakra is right above them.
A dog’s chakra points also follow the general spots, but the heart chakra (from the back) is where his scruff is located.
A rabbit’s chakra points are similar to the cat’s (where the heart and throat chakras are located). A minor difference would be where his crown and third eye are located. Instead of being between his ears on the very top of his head, the crown chakra is a little ways forward. And the third eye chakra is located a bit farther down as well.
A horse’s chakra points follow just about all the general points, but the throat chakra (from the back) is located a bit higher on his neck.
Some of bird’s chakra points are a bit different than the general spots. The crown chakra is located towards the back of the head (usually where the curve of the head is). The third eye chakra is placed right above the beak.
A rat and mouse both have the same locations of chakra points and are very close to the general spots.
You now know how and where to heal your pets with chakra therapy. So go on and heal your fur babies!
